Snelling farm campsite
Sam and Cristabel farm the 220 acres at Moreton with the help of their collie dogs Bill, Sam (the sheepdog!) & Roy. Farming is in Sam's blood and they both share a love of the countryside and wildlife.
They have 300 purebred Dorset Sheep, useful for their rare quality of being able to lamb at any time of the year. The sheep happily graze the river bank in the autumn with their lambs, if you come at the end of August you might see an early arrival.
If you catch a sighting of a sheep in the village it probably comes from Snelling Farm as they keep the fields around the church and village hall well mown!
