About us
Sam and Cristabel farm the 220 acres at Snelling Farm with the assistance of their children and two sheep dogs Sam & Dave. Farming is in Sam's blood and they both share a love of the countryside and wildlife.
They have 400 ewes, Poll Dorsets who are useful for their rare quality of being able to lamb at any time of the year. The sheep happily graze the river bank in the Spring with their lambs. Keep an ear out for the pigs snuffling about too, they live in the little woods dotted about the farm.
If you catch a sighting of a sheep in the nearby village of Moreton it probably comes from Snelling Farm as they help keep the fields around the church and village hall well mown!
